I flew into Yellowknife on a First Air flight from Resolute Bay another equally cold place in the cold great white north. Its cold and crisp and beautiful up here; three reasons to check it out next time.

Yellowknife is the capital of the Northwest Territories Province (NT). It is located north of Alberta and east of the Yukon Territories.

It gets cold here in the wintertime. At the time of this writing, its -36F. So things like dog sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, skiing, viewing the northern lights, hiking are quite common in the wintertime.

In the summer, its a beautiful country and you can hike, swim, fish just to name a few. It’s an outdoor paradise.
