244. Berlin-Tempelhof Airport, Berlin Germany
Berlin-Tempelhof Airport is, well was one of the three airports in Berlin. This is the one that was ran by the Americans and there’s still a basketball court on the top floor. Today, you can do paid tours of the airport facility and they also have concerts there. Plus the runway and airport tarmac and apron are all now a huge park right in the middle of the city.
The Berlin-Tempelhof Airport is located in the southern part of the city near the intersection of Highway 100 and 96.
How To Get Here
The area is served by the ICE (Intercity Express) and Regional trains operated by Deutsche Bahn. Local Berlin trains; the U-Bahn and S-Bahn also serves the city. You can take the U6 to Platz der Luftbrücke and then walk to the entrance of the airport.
