Andorra is one of those places that is just so cool as its landlocked between two countries you have to visit. Plus the area is very scenic. It sits in the Pyrenees mountains; so if you are a skier or just like to see snow capped mountains, this is the place for you.
Andorra is a land locked principality; yes its a country between France and Spain. Although Andorra is not a member of the European Union, it does use the Euros.
How To Get Here
Renfe, the national rail of Spain has service to Girona, Spain and then you can take a bus from there to Andorra. If you are coming from France, then you can take the SNCF to Perpignan or Toulouse and take a bus down to Andorra.
Andorra does not have its own airport, but you can fly into nearby Toulouse (TLS) or Girona (GRO) and then take buses to Andorra La Vella. Don’t worry, the drive is worth your time. You may also fly into Barcelona El Prat (BCN) and take the bus up to Andorra; this is much further though.

In Andorra you get the best of the Spanish and French foods. There are restaurants all over as well as food establishments such as Burger King and McDonalds.
What To Do
So what does one do in Andorra? Ski and shop. They have an amazing duty free status so you get great deals and being in the Pyrenees, skiing is equally amazing. Of course that means when the snow is not around is perfect for outdoor walks and hikes as well.
