143. Banyoles, Costa Brava
Banyoles, Costa Brava is a quiet place in northern Catalunya to ride bicycles, enjoy tapas and wine with its centerpiece Lago Banolas.

Banyoles is located north of Girona in the Costa Brava region of Catalunya.
How To Get Here
There are a few ways to get here, lets look at them:
There are national and local city buses in Spain to get you around. In this area the bus company is Moventis. Check online for their schedules for routes within Costa Brava to/from Girona.
The Sagales bus service will take you from the Barcelona airport to the Girona area then you can get a bus to Banyoles.
The Spanish rail service, Renfe serves Girona. From there you can take the bus to Banyoles.
The closest airport is Gerona, Spain (GRO). There is bus service from the airport to the city.

The best thing to do is to rent a bike from www.burricleta.com and ride around the area. There’s also a train that will take you around as well. There are also caves in Serinyà called the Cova d’Arbreda.
