162. Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Maine USA
This lighthouse sits at the end of the of Maine and gives you a very awesome view of the ocean and the surrounding lands. Try going during the off season (mid-October to early-June) as you can enjoy the views better.

How To Get Here
You can take the Downeaster service on Amtrak to Portland, Maine, then rent a car and head to the Lighthouse.
The area is served by Greyhound. You would need a car though to get to the Lighthouse.
You will need a car to get to the Lighthouse, so once you fly into the any of the airports below, rent one.
The nearest airport is Bangor, Maine (BGR).
Airplanes serving Bangor International Airport (BGR) are:
American Airlines (AA), Delta Air Lines (DL) and United Airlines (UA).
An alternate is the Augusta State Airport (AUG). This airport is served by Cape Air (9K) from Boston, MA (BOS).
Portland, Maine (PWM) is also another choice.
The following airlines serve the Portland International Jetport (PWM):
American Airlines (AA), Delta Air Lines (DL), JetBlue Airways (B6), Southwest Airlines (WN) and United Airlines (UA).
