Why
Bordeaux is known for its wine, but its also a fine city in and of itself. Bordeaux, France is one of those places where wine is like water, well kind of. It’s the only airport I’ve been to that has its own winery in the airport. How cool is that?

The Accor Group of hotels, Best Western, IHG including an Intercontinental, Kyriad are well represented. There are also some local hotels as well. When I was there, I stayed at the Holiday Inn near the train station which is a little away from the main area.

Wine and more wine is the name of the game here. There’s even a winery at the airport! However, the city is rich in architecture and churches so take a walk around or take the Light Rail around town.
