This spot, Borders, St. Elizabeth is one of my favorite spots in Jamaica. It’s a place where you can get some local food freshly made everyday. The local are friendly and the food is good.

Borders is located on the border of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth on the A2 which is south coast coastal highway. It’s actually not too far from my childhood home of Carisbrook or the nearby Holland Bamboo.

There are limited places to stay in this area. If you prefer, you can stay in Negril and just drive to Borders have some food and head back to your hotel. Its a pretty drive along the coast and you get an opportunity to see the Jamaican south coast. You can also stay in Montego Bay if you like.
