219. Cardiff Wales, United Kingdom
My first time to Cardiff was a landing for a fuel stop on a Virgin Atlantic Airways flight to London. My second trip was years later for a London 2012 Olympics Football (soccer) game. I’ve been back since, but still want to return and actually spend the night. It is perfect for a quick day trip out though despite its 3 hours or so journey time. I suggest you do the same very soon as it has a lot to offer and did I mention Castle? Yup, there’s one right in the heart of the city.
Cardiff is located in Wales in the south western part of the United Kingdom. It’s just across the way from Bristol, United Kingdom and sits on the River Severn as it enters the Atlantic Ocean.
