Why
My first time to Cardiff was a landing for a fuel stop on a Virgin Atlantic Airways flight to London. My second trip was years later for a London 2012 Olympics Football (soccer) game. I’ve been back since, but still want to return and actually spend the night. It is perfect for a quick day trip out though despite its 3 hours or so journey time. I suggest you do the same very soon as it has a lot to offer and did I mention Castle? Yup, there’s one right in the heart of the city.
