How To Get Here
You can take a train to Chișinău, Moldova. Start your booking to Moldova at RailEurope or Eurail. It has a very beautiful train station with some really old trains too.

Eurolines has service to Moldova from points in the rest of Europe. You are taken to the main train station in Chișinău, which is really beautiful by the way. There also service by Gara Auto.

The nearest airport is Chișinău International Airport (KIV), the home of Air Moldova and FlyOne.

There are plenty of places to stay including Radisson Blu which has a pretty amazing SkyBar with great music, food and atmosphere. You can find a good array of places for a meal. They also have a pretty cool coffee house as well.

What To Do
One of the biggest attractions in Chișinău, is the Cricova Winery. All the processing is done underground. Take a jacket when you visit.
The architecture and the churches in the city are worth seeing. Plus the train station is a must. Walk to the local market near the minibus station to get a flavor of the culture of the city.
See the wooden church. They pack it up and rebuilt in a new location.

There are museums as well as huge Parks. One of the parks, Ștefan cel Mare Central Park, has wifi so you can sit and surf if you wish. Getting a guide is a good idea as the city has a lot of history.

When I was there the cadets were graduating in front of the main square. It was quite the site to see. I especially love their hats.
