179. Chișinău, Republic of Moldova

Why Chișinău, Moldova?

Chișinău, Moldova. Not many people visit this part of the world and should. Its rich in history, much cheaper than most places in Europe, the people won’t smile, but say hello and they will and you’ll also see some old building and cars as well. I was fortunate to make this trip with Jay Way Travel.

The architecture and the churches in the city are worth seeing. Plus the train station is a must. Walk to the local market near the minibus station to get a flavor of the culture of the city.
See the wooden church. They pack it up and rebuilt in a new location from time to time. It’s quite the marvel.
