How To Get Here
By Train
As Sri Lanka is an island, there are no trains that arrive here from another country, however there are trains from Colombo to all parts of the country from the Central Train Station in the heart of the city.

There are several places to stay in this city. And they offer different levels of comfort. I stayed with Cinnamon Hotels and also the Kingsbury and was quite pleased.

Where To Eat
Colombo has places to eat everywhere. You do the traditional thing and eat with your hands at a sit down restaurant, eat street food or sit in a fine dining restaurant or dine at your hotel You take your pick. It’s all good and quite tasty.

What To Do
Actually plenty to do in this city. I recommend the Temples and the Maning Market and take a walk downtown. Plus if you go by Galle Fort its quite worth it as well. Shopping is quite good here as well. But I recommend staying away from the electronics items as tempting as they are.
