Crowe, Isle of Wight, United Kingdom is located at the northern central part of the Isle of Wight. It’s the closest point of the island to Southampton. The island is located off the southern coast of England between England and France.

How To Get Here

By Train

Take the trains to Southampton station then take a local bus or the shuttle bus to the Ferry port. From there take the ferry to the island. You can use National Rail or Trainline.com to book tickets to Southampton.

By Bus

Take National Express and MegaBus to Southhampton, then take a local bus or the special City Link bus to the ferry port.

By Plane

The nearest major airport is Southampton Airport (SOU). You may also fly into any of the UK major airports though and then take a train to Southampton, then the local bus or the special bus to the ferry terminal.

By Car

Take the Red Funnel ferry to the island. Journey times is about 55 minutes.

Where To Stay

There’s a Best Western located in Cowes as well as a few other local properties. You may also stay in Southampton where you will find other major chains. You can just take the ferry to the island.

There are a few restaurants in Cowes even an Indian food place. Just walk around until you find something that will satisfy your palate.

What To Do

Walk the town and enjoy the narrow main street with its cute shop. Especially the sweet shop :-). There’s also a Library and on a clear day you can see the cruise ships passing by and also as you leave the Port of Southampton from which the Titanic.
There’s also a Military and Heritage and a Floating Bridge. Walking along the Marina is also quite beautiful as you see a lot of sailboats.
