Why Derwent Reservoir, United Kingdom

You’re perhaps saying, “a reservoir Kerwin? Really?” Well, let me explain, this is no ordinary reservoir, The Derwent Reservoir was used by the Royal Air Force for training flights so they could bomb similar reservoirs in Germany during World War II. There’s a huge park around the reservoir so you can hike, plus you can marvel at the reservoir and there’s a museum as well. And as it happens, it was 74 years ago today, that the RAF attacked the Ruhr Dam in Germany during WW II.
