Why
The thing about unfamiliar destinations is that oftentimes they are right under our noses. The bike shop, Fahrradhof in Atlandsberg is one of those places as it is a small town just outside of Berlin with a huge and very unique bikeshop. A great way to get out of the city and mingle with locals.

Fahrradhof lies at the beginning of Altlandsberg, which is about 60km outside of Berlin and is accessible by a combination of train and bus.
How To Get Here
By Train
You can get to Berlin by the ICE (Intercity Express) and Regional trains operated by Deutsche Bahn. Local Berlin trains; the U-Bahn and S-Bahn also serves the city of Berlin. Then you take a combination of the Regional Trains, the S5 and the 944 bus.

What To Do
So why come all this way to see a bike shop? Well, its quite the journey in and of itself, so you get a taste of how the people who live close to Berlin live and commute. The countryside is quite beautiful and people are friend and they ride bikes; well the bike shop is close by.
And, the bike shop is quite unique and famous among locals and people in the know in Berlin (its how I found out about it), its like a bike museum as bikes are everywhere.
