31. Golf del Sur, Tenerife Canary Islands, Spain
Why
If you want to get away from the cold of Europe and soak up some sun, this is the place to go in the Winter time and the summer too. And it’s still in Europe as the Canary Islands are a part of Spain.
Also, as aviation geek, this area fascinates me as one of the world’s worst major airlines accident occurred at the Tenerife Norte Airport.

The Golf del Sur area is located in the south of the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. The area is just about a ten minutes drive southwest of the airport and right on the south coast. The Canary Islands are located off the coast of Africa (Western Sahara and Morocco) and is a part of Spain.
