Hutchinson, Kansas USA is one of those places you’d perhaps never visit, but it has a great aerospace museum and also has salt. Yes, salt. It’s the home of Morton Salt company as it has a lot of salt deposits.

What To Do
When I visited Hutchinson, I did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Think salt and Hutchinson does not come to mind, but it should. Here’s why? It has a high salt content so Morton salt is located there and also its a storage facility for all your drivers license if you are in the U.S. Plus theres’s a Lockheed SR71 there in the Cosmosphere museum :-). Also, they have an Underground Salt mine/museum and you get to go down 650′ to check it out!
Depending on the time of the year, you can check out the State Fair. It’s in September.
