This is really a quiet and very beautiful and simple town. It’s also famous as its where the Bush family has their summer home, so it was in the news all the time when George Bush Sr was the President.
Kennebunkport, Maine USA is located south of Portland, Maine and north of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is a coastal town.
How To Get Here
You can take Amtrak, however, the closest stop is in Wells, Maine about 11 miles south of the center of Kennebunkport. You would have to rent a car from there.
The area is served by Greyhound. The closest bus station is in Wells, Maine.
The nearest major airport is Portland, Maine (PWM). You may use Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) as an alternate airport.
