Why

I first visited Kiev many years ago. It was quite a complex city. I remember it taking me a long time to find our hotel. The locals were quite friendly once we asked for directions :-). The city has fantastic architecture and a lot to see as you walk around the city.

 

Where

Kiev is the capital of Ukraine and sits in the northern part of the country just across from the Belarus border.

How To Get Here

Train

The train station is Kiev Railway. You can book your ticket at Ukraine Train Tickets.

Plane

The city is served by two airports.

The main airport is Boryspil International Airport (KBP).

The airlines serving the Boryspil International Airport (KBP) are:

If you are already in the region you can take the drive. Just use a service like Google Maps for directions.

What To Do

Everything is written in Cyrillic here, so its a challenge to navigate. However the locals who speak English are more than happy to help. I remember it took us a while to find our hotel as its name was in Cyrillic :-).
