How To Get Here
By Train
You can take a train from Porto to Regua on the Douro Valley Railway, the closest train station and then take a local bus from the station to Lamego. The Regua train station is old and beautiful and so is the journey.

By Plane
Lamego does not have its own airport, the closest is Porto’s Francisco de Sá Carneiro Airport which is located in Pedras Rubras, Moreira da Maia.

The main attraction here is Santuario Nossa Senhora dos Remedios, which are the steps up to the Cathedral. You can also go wine tasting to any of the many vineyards as well as take a ride down the Douro River.
