I spent a week in the Castilla y Leon region of Spain and totally enjoyed it. Medina del Campo is worth visiting as its the place where Santa Teresa lived in the second convent she opened.

Where To Stay
I did not stay in Medina del Campo when I visited. but did notice that the hotels are all local brands and very quaint. So I don’t think you’ll have any issues with finding a place to stay.

It’s Spain, so red wine, tapas and beef are in order.

What To Do
This is a small town and also one of the places Santa Teresa visited during her life. You can visit one of the convents she found, the Convento de San José here. There is also a castle called Castillo de la Mota.
