No one really says, I’m going to visit Minneapolis, Minnesota USA, but they should. In the summer its actually quite beautiful not to mention the Fall. Plus it also has the Mall of America and the home of Prince.
Minneapolis is located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It’s very close to the Wisconsin border and is twinned with the city of St. Paul, just a train ride away.
How To Get Here
Amtrak serves the city. Plus there is Light Rail service that takes you around the surrounding areas.
The closest airport to is Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) with Delta Air Lines as the host carrier.

Where To Stay
You can stay downtown Minneapolis or at the airport. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza and it worked well as there is a train from the airport directly to the hotel. The same train also takes you to the Mall of America.

There are lots of places to eat in the downtown area as well as at the Mall of America.

What To Do
The major attraction is the Mall of America. You can actually live in that Mall literally as there is a hotel directly in the Mall; the Radisson Blu. You can do a brewery tour as well as visit Target Field for a baseball game.
