Not as famous as Machu Picchu or Cusco, but equally deserving of a visit.
Where
Ollantaytambo, Peru is located just northwest of Cusco in the valley of the Andes. Despite its location though it sits at 9,160′ (2,792m).

By Train
You can take the train on Perurail to Ollyantayambo from Cusco or Aguas Caliente.
By Plane
Cusco has its own airport, the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ). It’s best to book departing flights in the morning as the afternoon flights are sometimes weight restricted due to the altitude.
