Osaka, is Japan’s third largest city. It is quite different than the other cities in Japan as it has more of a commercial feel. It also has the Yodo River running through it which adds a certain charm and serves well during some of the city’s festivals. So check it out on your next visit to Japan.
Osaka is located in the Osaka Prefecture in Japan. It is a coastal city just east of Kobe. It’s just southwest of Nagoya.
How To Get Here
The Shenkansen has service to this city; the Nozomi is the fastest line.
Osaka is served by two airports Itami (ITM), the domestic airport and Osaka International Airport (KIX).

If you are already in the region you can take the drive. Just use a service like Google Maps for directions.
There is ferry service from Busan, South Korea on Direct Ferries. There is also ferry service to other Japanese cities.
