Why Papa Westray, Orkney Islands Scotland?
This is one of the smallest Orkney islands with a population of less than 100 or so. It’s a bit of a challenge to live on the island due to the tide. Plus getting to the island is also a unique experience. One has to fly the world’s shortest flight from Papa Westray to Westray; its only two minutes. The flight originates in Kirkwall. The Papa Westray Airport (PPW) is served by Loganair (LM).
As its group of islands, its quite the adventure to get here by car. It’s a combination of ferries. Just use a service like Google Maps for directions.
