169. Sant Hilari Sacalm, Girona, Spain
You’ve perhaps never even heard of this place. But the small town of Sant Hilari Sacalm has its own treasures. It’s a great place for outdoor adventures, Ratafia as well as having some natural iron ore streams which seem to last forever.
Sant Hilari Sacalm is located in the province of Girona in the Costa Brava region of Catalunya. It is located north east of Barcelona and southwest of the city of Girona.

The Spanish rail service, Renfe serves Girona. From there, you can take a bus down to Sant Hilari Sacalm.
The closest airport is Gerona, Spain (GRO). There is bus service from the airport to the city.

What To Do
You can choose to just enjoy the atmosphere of the area as its rich with the outdoors or you can head over to the Sant Hilari Aventura and do some climbing. You can also rent bikes and bike the area plus check out the natural drinking wells that are around the town.
