185. Sighișoara, Romania

Why Sighișoara, Romania

Sighișoara, Romania is located in the Transylvania region of Romania and is the birthplace to Vlad the Impaler. There’s a cafe downstairs the house and you can just head upstairs and check out the room. I did this trip compliments of JayWay Boutique Travel who organizes trips for the Eastern Europe region. I have to say I did not have to do a thing, except show up and record my experience. Not having to plan makes it so much easier.

Where To Stay

The accommodations in Sighișoara are quite quaint. I stayed in an Old Post Office which was quite nice. Across the street is the Hotel Central Park and not too far away from the center of town is the DoubleTree. A place to stay is part of the JayWay Boutique Travel package.

The main attraction here is the Citadel and the home of Vlad Dracul. Vlad is a true character, but Dracula is not.
