Why
Many visit the famous Peak in Hong Kong, but most take the Tram as opposed to walking. I highly recommend walking up and down to the Peak as you meet amazing people, explore hidden areas, get some exercise and get some unprecedented views.

This is the walking trail that goes from the Peak Tram station all the way up to the Peak.
How To Get Here
By Train
The area is served by MTR. Once you get off follow the signs for the Peak. Walk in the direction of the where the tram is heading. Follow the road as it winds its way up the hill to the Peak.
By Plane

If you are already in Hong Kong you can take the drive. Just use a service like Google Maps for directions. You can actually drive the route, but its much better if you walk it.

It’s Hong Kong, so you have many places to stay. There are no accommodations on the trail unless your Airbnb is on the trail :-).

There are places to eat once you arrive at the Peak, but not on your way up.
What To Do
Take the walk up the trail. Do not take the Tram to the Peak. Enjoy the area, talk to the residents. Stop and enjoy it all.
Walking down will be a challenge and perhaps more work than walking up.
