What To Do
It’s a hiking area, seeing the wild life as well as just enjoying the desert. You also get to walk on the dry lake bed. I’m told its not always dry though and you are warned by signs not to drive on it. It’s a pretty amazing desolate place, that’s worth some time exploring.
The area is a part of the Mojave National Preserve.
